Cowbell
Hello,
Im trying to write a drumline piece and I wish to add a cowbell part that the snares will play. However, when I go to do this I edit the drumset and input the correct midi number from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_MIDI but the sound does not add.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely the soundfont you are using does not contain the cowbell sound. You would have to have the sound available.
I don't use midi playback so I am not familiar with the alternatives. Someone else will point you in the right direction.

These are sort of helping; however, it still does not allow me to play a cowbell along with snare sounds from Battery snare.
