Changing key signature after section break on horizontal frame

• Sep 12, 2017 - 16:21

After a section break, placed on the last measure, a change of key signature does not cause a courtesy key signature to appear at the beginning of the new section ... unless it is placed on a horizontal frame in which case courtesy key signature is abnormally forced.

Aha! I see now what you are saying. Sorry I didn't understand this on the French forum. This is a very strange behavior and I agree it might be a bug. There are other things that putting a section break gives improper results. The pause for the section break is omitted and if the instrument name is displayed, the short name is displayed. It does start numbering over at one however.

The way I tried to work around it is to make the frame a measure and make it invisible, but that option is grayed out because there is only one staff. I inserted a second instrument and made it invisible, I was then able to make the measure invisible. This seems an odd behavior also.
