Inserting measures

• Aug 24, 2009 - 23:24

Hello,
I've noticed that there is a problem with inserting measures into a score. Try to do the following steps:
1.Create new score in 3/4 (or whatever)
2. Insert few notes
3. Insert a measure before the first measure of your score. This creates new-first measure without time signature assignment - you have to put it by yourself. And here is a bug - this newly created measure should have already have a time signature - the global one or the one next to it (or precedent one in case it's not a first measure and there are some time signature changes). Now when you create a time signature for the first measure you got two assignment standing one to the other and there is no way to get rid of the second one. Hiding it through the context menu doesn't help because the hidden assignment visualy takes same place and the measure looks bigger than others.
See the attached file.
I'm on Fedora 10 with MuseScore 0.9.5

What about key signatures ?
Suppose you have a score i G major and want to instert a measure before the first measure. After that you have to drag-and-drop a key signature to this measure and now you have two signatures standing one next to the other.
How can you get rid of them? I've tried deleting but with no succes.
Best,
