Changing Instrument name on the score??
Can somebody please tell me how I can change the name of the instruments on the score? At the moment I can only do it when I separate the parts, and then do it on the individual part. It would be useful for me to change the name on the score directly.

To change the name on the score and have it affect parts so they will be named properly when you extract them, use the staff properties. Right click a measure where there are no notes and select "staff properties." Change the Part name to what you want on the part, long name to what you want on the first system of the score and short name for what you want before subsequent system.
