musescore file on Microsoft Word

When I do as suggested and save a file a png document, and then drag the document onto Microsoft Word, I have two problems: the staff I wrote appears quite tiny, and the file itself takes up most of the page (meaning that there is also a lot of blank space that goes with the file). How do I make the music larger and how do I get rid of all the wasted space (so that, for example, I could do something basic like write something underneath the notes)?
