BPM Tempo in "New score wizard" uses quarter instead of dotted quarter in 6/8

I think the most clear (and probably easy) solution would be to ask for tempo in the wizard AFTER instead of before time signature selection, and to express the tempo in term of a selected note duration instead of BPM.
By already having a time signature selection, the wizard would be able to propose a reasonable default note duration to express the tempo (such as dotted quarter for 6/8).
