what are the [ ] in the play panel
In the play panel you can press the [ and ] icons to make a range in the score you want to limit the play to. What are these brackets called. And how can I undo this effect. I have marked two points in the score which I wanted the playback limited to. Now I'm finished and want to hear the entire score. What should I do?

square brackets , or just brackets ("[]"). In contrast to curly braces or just braces ("{}") and round brackets or parenthesis (or short: parens) ("()")
1. Fix screenshot.... ;-)
2. Click on the 'Loop playback' icon, or use 'Shift+L', then 'Rewind'
