How to remove rests in a bar when bar is not complete
Does anyone know if you can eleminate rests in a bar that only has a few notes in it? eg: the 1st bar of the song provided. Thanks.

Right click (ctrl click with Mac) that first measure. Choose "measure properties at the bottom of the menu that appears. Set "actual duration" to 1/4. Then re-enter the two quavers.
It is easier to use the "new score" command to begin a new score and go through the steps. At one point it asks you if there is an upbeat. Enter 1/4 upbeat at that point and you have it all ready for you.
