Changing Instruments part way through a score
Hi. I'm putting together a Brass Band score from individual parts. The "Drum Kit" part sends the player to various other percussion instruments during the course of the piece, including the triangle, wood block, and glockenspiel.
Can anyone please tell me if it's possible to change the instrument without adding extra lines to the score?

Mid-staff instrument changes will work for all of the above listed instruments except the glockenspiel. You cannot do a mid-staff change from a non-pitched percussion to a pitched percussion. For this you will need a new staff. You can then use Hide Empty staves to make only one appear at a time, though I would expect the glockenspiel to have it's own music stand. I would use staff text to tell the musician to move to the other instrument.
