Inconsistent behavior in ottava
This may be related to #178591 & #268252

I have numbers only unchecked in Style/General.
In measure 1 I selected the top note of the chord. I get 8 instead of 8va over the whole measure.
In measure 2 I selected the entire right hand chord. I get 8 instead of 8va over the chord (as desired).
In measure 3 I dragged the ottava symbol over the top note of the chord. I get 8va over the whole measure, but the font is different and does not say ottava like in the other 2 measures. It just says Text: 8va.

In measure 1 & 2 I double clicked the ottava symbol in the palette.

In #268252 I don't see the issue raised that if I select & note & double-click I get ottava on the whole measure, and that if I select the chord the behavior is different yet again.

This is the behavior of all lines. Perhaps the documentation should be clearer.
