How to enter improv measures?
Is there a way to enter passages with chord symbols and without defined notes? I have an xml from Sibelius that contains several measures of improv space, where the chords are given but instead of notes there are hash lines " / / /". MuseScore is interpreting this as a drone that isn't even in the key, but when I try to delete these hash lines, MuseScore turns each measure into all rests and deletes the chord symbols. Help!

Use Edit >Tools >Fill with slashes and see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tools#fill-with-slashes
Unfortunately the slash notation isn't standardized quite well enough to survive the trip through MusicXML the way one would hope. So to delete the existing slash notes from Sibelius but leave the chord symbols in place, use View / Selection Filter to exclude chord symbols from the selection before pressing Delete. Now you can use 'Fill With Slashes" as mentioned above to add the correct slashes back.

Hi! Currently writing a jazz score that utilizes this. Is there a way to do this on MS 4?
