Can't hear two drums

I'm writing an arrangement for a small pit, and I have written a tenor drum part. I can put notes in for drum 4 and the spock drum fine, but in the playback, I can't hear them at all. I tried reverting back to factory settings (because I found that if you can't hear the playback at all that helps), but it hasn't changed anything.
