Question: how do you have it play two dotted quarter notes and four eighth notes in a measure of 6/8?
I'm new at this, and for my first exercise as a self-run tutorial of sorts, I'm putting an old and cherished piece of music (Sonatina in G by Beethoven) into the program to see all the ins and outs of it. I got to a certain measure that asks of me what I as a pianist can do, but what I as a software user is stumped by.
Time signature is 6/8, so the program won't let me add in what the music requests. How do I get the superscript rest so that the computer knows that the dotted quarter note is supposed to be sustained while the two eighth notes are played, and then this pattern is repeated?
Thanks!
