Crash on symbol insertion (Mac OS X)

On Mac OS X running High Sierra 10.13.4, MuseScore crashes immediately upon attempt to insert a special character such as a musical symbol into a text field. The dialog box with the symbols is displayed correctly. Crash occurs when symbol is double-clicked to insert. Bug is present in both the most recent nightly build and binary locally compiled from git repository. Stable version 2.2 does not have this problem
