Saving files from musescore
Musescore won't let me save anywhere in my own folders except in C:\users\owners, the top level of all my folders such as Music, Documents, Pictures, Desktop, etc. I can then move the files into my music folders and open them from there. But even when they are opened from a music folder, Musescore will not let me save back to that location. If any other program did this, I would assume it's a problem with my file and folder permissions, but Musescore is the only program that does this.
Any suggestions on how I can resolve this?

Most likely you need to uninstall MuseScore then log in as a user then reinstall musescore to allow access to the users files.
Have you tried this?....
You can set the folder to save scores using menu item: Edit -> General, where you change the default 'Scores' folder.

You say it won't let you save elsewhere - what exactly goes wrong when you try? Please describe as precisely as possible what you are doing, what you expect to see happen, and what happens instead.
