Mixer options should be implemented per section, not per voice

I've been using the mixer's mute/solo options to better hear certain parts during playback while composing. Unfortunately, many instruments have multiple entries in the mixer. For example, adding a single Double Bass instrument will add a Contrabass, Acoustic Bass and Tremolo Strings to the mixer to handle the sustained, pizzicato and tremolo voicings of the Double Bass respectively. Most of the strings have these multiple voices, so adding just a few string parts can quickly make the mixer hard to manage.

It would be nice if the mixer could treat a section as a single entity with maybe a fold-out so that the user could tweak the sustained/pizzicato/tremolo within a single instrument if they really wanted to.

I know the frustration and found it rather difficult trying to compose for multiple parts with fluctuating tones that can't be used as a constant as a reference sound.... it's a bit to learn since I haven't a clue how to dj/mix music and have been trying to teach mysel. It can be frustrating at times but also pretty neat to play around with the different sounds at times too.
Assuming you're not using the pizzacato or tremolo channel for a string instrument part, you could perhaps take a part from another instrument like guitar and copy and paste the guitar part to play pizzacato on a the pizzacato channel on a violin instrument part and then eliminate the guitar instrument that you copied onto the violin for the voice played pizzacato ( liike voice 2 ). It seems to simplify things more me anyway

I figured a way to use less instruments for strings...I select the "strings" instrument that has both treble and bass clef in one part with three channels rather than have 6 channels from selecting "violin" and "violcello" as two separate instruments... that and the brass seems to help minimalize the # of parts. yays
