Upload problem with 2.2

• Apr 21, 2018 - 17:11

Hello!
Since I updated to Musescore 2.2 the upload does not work. I produce an xml which is opened by musescore 2.2 and saved to a mscz file (compressed musescore). This mscz file is then chosen at upload which thus fails.
I attach the mscz file here.
Any advice?

No idea, I can "Save online" that score without any error messages, but indeed on musescore.com it gets reported as "Upload failed".
Maybe best to contact support@musescore.com about this.
Maybe the problem came in via the MusicXML import, so it might help to attache that here too?

There's quite a bit more changes between the 2, lots of changes to or additions of hairpins, removal of page breaks and some more. No idea whether any of those might be the culprit for the download success/failure

Edit: it seems to be the page breaks, removing them all and the score does upload successfully, I don't understand why though

"I think you should upgrade from 2.2.0 to 2.2.1"

Already done on my main computer, but not yet on the laptop (where I edited the score yesterday)
But not really a change here. After a first failure on the main computer (don't know exactly why), after a new try, it works as expected on the two computers (and so with 2.2/Windows10, and 2.2.1/Windows7).

See image below ( of course, I will delete this score in a few minutes) :)

and as @kjelleman and I found out this is not the whole truth. Your file has no page breaks, and when I take the original file and remove those in addition to the instrument changes, the upload works, with those page breaks it does not.
Just removing the page breaks doesn't solve the problem though (that was the 1st I tried, yesterday already), so it got to be the combination

I have now manually changed the original file (extracted the mscx from the mscz using 7zip, editing that using vim, a plain text editor) to change the instruments and remove the page breaks, to make extra sure that there isn't any other change happening under the covers, and indeed then the score uploads successfully.

Thank you cadiz and jojo for all your help. Now I finally got a successful upload from my own file. So I need both to change instruments and to remove all system breaks. And both these features appear with musescore 2.2 since there were no such problem with musescore 2.1. I have to keep it in mind for future uploads.
I really appreciate your help.
Greetings
