XML support in musescore 2.2.1
I just installed version 2.2.1. I notice exporting as an XML file isn't an option anymore. musicxml is an option, but I'm unable to import that filetype in Sibelius 8.

Just rename to .xml
To be clear: MusicXML has always been the proper name for the format. In the past, the people in charge of MusicXML format used to ask applications to use the ".xml" extension for files in this format. As of a few months ago, they started asking application developers to switch to ".musicxml" as the extension. The format hasn't changed at all, just the name that people are supposed to use. We have changed in accordance with this, and no doubt Sibelius will do as well in good time. Meanwhile, indeed, just rename the file for the benefit of older programs that haven't been updated to use the new extension yet - again the format hasn't changed, just the name.
