Re-numbering measures (bars)
Is it possible to change the numbering of measures on a score, eg so the first bar is numbered something other than 1? Any help much appreciated!

Right click the measure and put a number in the "Add to measure" number field. This will affect the measure number displayed in the measure number options, but the measure number in the status bar at the bottom of the window will remain unchanged. These are the true measure numbers always starting at 1, no matter if it's a pickup measure or not.
