making the buttons bigger or easier to click on
Perhaps it's just me in terms of being klutzy with the mouse, but does anyone else find it sometimes difficult to click on a button, or a note that you want to select because it's so small. Maybe it's just me, but there seems like there's a lot of open space that could be used to make the buttons bigger and easier to click on...like on the play panel, there's all that open space, or on the top on the right side after the page numbers and such there's open space to utilize for buttons...
Overall though, I shouldn't fuss since I do appreciate Musescore and think it's dandy. However, it could also be cool to have a box that is like a magnifying glass of a selected area of the sheet music. this way you can have a broader view of the sheet music and then be able to insert notes in the magnifying box in the particular area that you selected for example...since it's harder to add notes at the 50% magnified view but at 150% magnified it's easy to get lost or know where you are in the song.

Maybe increase them all by using the -x or -D options? See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/command-line-options

On Windows, in Settings -> Ease of Access, there is a magnifier available. Size and zoom level are adjustable:

Regards.
Alternatively, open up the Navigator and size it up to half your screen, then have a 150% zoom in the normal working area.
Thank you for posting. It will help you to know where you are in the song.
