Guitar neck for inserting notes
You can instantly enter notes in MuseScore using the piano keyboard menu. How about a guitar neck for the guitarists? Unfortunately, there are many who have difficulty with the notes and only use tablature. A guitar neck would suit them.

I have an interactive fretboard interface built in SVG that works in a browser, but I have no idea what it would take to integrate that with MuseScore. I'll be releasing a web page with some of that functionality in June or July. SoundSlice.com has some excellent fretboard animations on their site, but that's an example of playback interfaces, not input interfaces.
If anyone has an idea of how to convert my SVG + JavaScript interface into something MuseScore can use, I'd pitch in for that.
