Moving all notes one beat to the right?
Sorry, haven't had much luck finding an answer to this anywhere (may be my difficulty in phrasing the question) but I'm trying to figure out how to move an entire treble line (numerous measures) one beat to the right, in order to allow a LH chord to be played with a RH rest above, instead of a note. I'd rather not erase it all and start over...I'm certain there's an easier way! Help? Thanks...

Select range, cut and paste.
Cut and paste is indeed how you'll move the phrase. But also you'll need to know how to enter the rest. See https://masteringmusescore.com/quick-answers/enter-rests/.
The full sequence to move the phrase will be to first select it, then cut, then enter the rest, then click the location after the rest, then paste.
