A short repeat at the end of the score

I made a score with two verses.
The final section has a repeat chorus about a half-dozen measures long with
two different endings designated by line 1 and line 2.
A D.S. is at the end of line 2 and the sign is at the beginning of the score.
After playing the first verse, the repeat works correctly.
After the second verse, only the line 2 gets played so there is no repeat.
Is that a bug in MuseScore?
How do I make it work to repeat the chorus after the second verse also?
I probably need to make something act like the first verse.
