Is there a setting/trick/shortcut to print folio style?

Hi, kinda new to musescore but old hat composer, have used it now for 2-3 weeks and love it, already composed a few things on it.

Since I'm new, sorry if this question is mentioned elsewhere (I did try to find it) but not sure how this works:

I have e.g. an SATB/piano score, and in my workspace there are 2 systems per page (i.e. 2 "brackets" of the music (SATB/piano condensed). When I go to print, I get the 2 systems in portrait layout on each page, but the music simply outputs onto the next page, like the typical text document.

What I want is to print folio style... that is possibly insert a legal-sized sheet, have the first page print on page 1, but have the final page print on that same sheet of paper. In other words, rather than simply print out a bunch of individual sheets and staple them together, I'd like to see them print folio (book) style, where they print out so you lay one sheet on top of the other (i.e. your cover page is on the same sheet as your final page), and the "innermost sheet" has the middle of the work). Then you simply staple them and they're arranged like a book more or less... you stack all of them, staple in the middle, and fold to get a booklet arrangement.

I realize I have to mess with the dimensions to have the 2 systems fit on each sheet (right now they fit portrait, but I'd have to shrink them a bit to fit on landscape, that's alright, I expected to do that, unless there's a shortcut for that, too!). But to get the consecutive pages of the score to lay out folio style, well, is there a shortcut or do I have to be diabolical and arrange it all myself using cut/paste?

I hope this makes sense, but I would imagine it's a common question? I'd like to produce a booklet instead of a bunch of single, double-sided sheets. Thanks!

Welcome.
Try exporting as a PDF (File/Export). In the printer window you should find the option you are looking for (if I understand correctly)

Okay thanks I will try that.

In small works, it's not too hard to do the math myself and cut/paste the consecutive layout so as to match up without having the printer (or anything else) to figure it out, but yeah I know some applications (not nec. music notation) that have a "folio" setting and it auto-manages which pages print on which sheets so as to layer them, staple, fold and get your folio booklet.

But what you suggested is a possibility.
