Can't upload new banner
Whenever I try to open the interface to change the banner on my profile, nothing happens after attempting to upload. It opens up, prompts me to drag and drop or browse for a file. After doing that I get the ability to crop my new image, but whether I do so or not, it always goes back to the previous screen after I click 'save changes', and stays like that. Am I not waiting long enough, or is something broken?

You need to contact the web master using the Contact us link which is the same as the one at the bottom of every MuseScore web page. Keep in mind it's about bed time in Europe where the web people live.
This is about musescore.com and should be reported there.
Some people already did so and in https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com/discuss/5019982#co… one of the developers confirmed this feature to be currently broken.
It is (claimed to be) fixed now
