Notation Issues
Hi Musescore community,
I've just been having trouble with notation. I've looked through tutorials and handbooks but I couldn't find what I was exactly looking for.
I wish the to notate like the following. I first inputed all the notes into a single clef, and then used cross staff notation, but I can't seem to get rid of the rest.
I have a similar problem with octaves involving cross staff notation.

voice 1 rests can't get deleted, but you can hide them, make invisible (in printout, shows grey in MuseScore)
@Jojo, "the rest" could mean "what remains" which could mean the extra note on the beamed group.
If I'm correct, you need to adjust the beaming of the notes. From the pictures it looks most likely that you will want to use https://musescore.org/en/handbook/time-signatures#change-default-beaming but https://musescore.org/en/handbook/beams#change-note-beaming may be sufficient.
If you continue to have trouble attach the score (or a sample of it) with an explanation of what you want to do.
