Notating for the pianist to slowly lift the pedal?
So in my piece I want to have the pianist slowly lift the sustain pedal at some points (rather than in one quick movement). Would this require a form of graphic notation (like a hairpin?). I cannot find any standard ways of notating this online...

I don't know if it's correct but you could add a Crescendo/Diminuendo line then right-click to edit the text (and adjust the size)
