Moving Slurs causing next beat to be silent in playback
I am using Musescore 2. I can place and move a slur to where I want it but the next beat is silenced. I haven't figured out why this is happening. Is there a way to put slurs in after all notes in a measure are entered without muting the following beat or will I have to enter the slur before the following notes?

Slurs do not affect playback in any significant way, so my best guess is that you have confused slurs with ties. Ties do indeed cause the subsequent note to not sound; that's kind of the whole point. Or maybe I am misunderstanding what you are describing. As mentioned above, if you attach your score, we can understand and assist better.
