I've got a SATB+piano system and I want to add a solo voice stave in the third verse. How do I co that?

Press I to add the "Instrument" (aka the solo voice), enter the notes for it THEN use the menu Style->General... and check "Hide empty staves" and uncheck "Don't hide staves in first system."
