drum parts
new to this. I'm trying to write a part for RIP IT UP
Got bass drum and cymbals but when i try to add snare it deletes cymbal note.
Also want to know how to repeat 2 bars instead of having to write whole thing out and to add numbers above bars.

And currently MuseScore doesn't have a 2 measure repeat. You could fake it with a 2nd staff with the notes which you then hide and the 2 measure repeat from the symbols palette
Be sure to read the Handbook section on drum notation, also on how to use multiple voices. If you continue to have trouble, please attach your score and describe exactly where and how you are attempting to add snare. Normally snare would be in voice 1, bass drum in voice 2, so those can coexist, but depending on what cymbal you mean, it might be in voice 1 or in voice 2, so you will need to be sure to combine the notes into "chords" (eg, by typing "Shift+A" to enter the snare, or by clicking the snare in the palette then clicking the desired location in the score).
