Add linked staff/guitar tab
Hi,
Just wondering if there is a way to add a second linked tab staff (eg.Staff 3) where i can have different positions of the same notes from Staff 1( used for my first linked tab ( Staff 2) ? Both tabs currently are changing identically if i try to reposition the place.
Is there any other way than to create a new instrument, then copy/paste the notes from the first instrument into it, and then create a linked tab to it which i can change the positions of?
Also is it possible to hide one of the staffs of a linked staff group ? Say i want to hide a staff, but not delete it...

Indeed, because they are linked. 2 tabs or 3 or more, will be the same thing.

You cannot do that. You can delete it, or hide another similar added instrument if you want.
By providing more details about the goal you try to reich (in others words, the use case), we could better assist.
For the moment, in my understanding, you want to display two Tabs with different fret positions. So, you can do that with the template Guitar + Tablature.
Then, add a Tab staff (not linked). After entering the linked staves -> copy-paste the content of the first Tab into the second Tab staff, and change the positions as wished.

Yes thats what i want to do - so I don't use a linked (tab) staff, i just use an "add staff" and copy/paste . Thank you !
