Is there a "wild card" meta data tag?
Or how could I add a part name to every page? Just put the part name in a random slot like lyricist $:bassoon?
I do a lot of transcribing/transposing for a couple of small bands. Band music seldom has lyrics.

Use $:text where text is what you want to display for a wild card.
If you are in the part, then there is an option to use $:partName: to display the part name assigned to that part.
