Where is the program folder?

• Oct 8, 2018 - 15:17

No desktop icon was created when I installed Musescore. So I tried to find the .exe file to create a shortcut. But I cannot find a folder anywhere that says "Musescore" or anything close.
Where are the Musescore program files kept?

Yes. Sorry.
But here's the weird thing. I had looked there, which is where the folder belongs. Nothing. And looked in the Programs folder (the other one, not Programs(x86). Nothing there. I clicked on Show Hidden files and looked multiple times, like somebody patting his pockets over and over, looking for his car keys. Nothing. So I posted this.
Then it occurred to me to uninstall Musescore and install it again, but this time watch during the installation process and see where it wanted my permission to put the working files. I watched, and it said %ProgramFiles(x86)% just like it's supposed to. Then, when the new installation was finished, there was a nice new icon on my desktop, and the folder was exactly where it was supposed to be.
So I guess this is a ghost story. I can't explain it.

I have downloaded it from the microsoft store. (Musescore 3, I have a windows 10). I tried to run it but nothing happens, when I check task manager, it shows musescore as an idle app and I can not see the musescore window, is there a way to fix this. I also downloaded the GitHub version and I can not find a wat to launch it. Please help. Thankyou.
