MIDI Input on Musescore v.2.3.2
Hi all,
I am trying to use a Keyboard/Midi Keyboard for note MIDI input but it is not working.
I have Musescore2 v.2.3.2 (which I believe is the most current version of the notation software) with a Yamaha YPG-235 and have a USB cable that connects from the keyboard directly into my laptop. I tried to alter the preferences to turn on the MIDI input mode, but it seems to not be working
Do I need to buy some sort of USB interface in order to use the MIDI input method? If so, what sort of other cables do I need in order to accomplish this?
Is it not working because I am using an older keyboard? Or is this a common bug that prevents MIDI input not to work?

You must turn on the keyboard before you start MuseScore. If you have done this, do you see your keyboard in the I/O tab of the preferences?

Are you using 2.3.2 also. That's an older version, so first update if so. If you still have problems, check Edit / Preferences / I/O and see if you can select your device there. Also say what OS you are on.
