This case was reproduced a couple of times when I ran MuseScore first time on new MacBook Pro laptop.

So, keyboard shortcuts, buttons and signals didn't work at all. I couldn't and still cannot reproduce it after several MuseScore runs.

I could find stable scenario.

  1. Switch keyboard to non-english layout (Russian in my case)
  2. Run MuseScore
  3. Try to use keyboard shortcuts
    Result: nothing happens. MuseScore doesn't react on shortcuts and keyboard input. Switching language while MuseScore is running doesn't help.
  4. Close MuseScore
  5. Switch keyboard language/layout to English
  6. Run MuseScore
  7. Try to use keyboard
    Result: everything works as expected.

Actual for MacOSX only and affects Russian and maybe another languages.
