How to add pictures to a score/
Hey,
I see beautiful scores of other people with photos or other pictures on the front page. So I tried this too - but didn't succeed until now. How can I add a picture?

You can drag and drop a picture to a frame or note.

Does Musescore allow you to add a picture as a background ( as shown in the attached picture), where there is a transparency effect ?

Yes, but the transparency is not modifiable in Musescore. You should do that using an image editor before adding the picture.
To have it as background: set the stacking order to a low value, e.g. to 1.
