Hyphens are located above lyric text
I'm creating a choral score and have changed the location of the lyrics from the default, to give the words more space on the page (the alto's lyric line had been superimposed over the music as much of it is below the stave.) However the hyphens between syllables haven't moved with the text. I've tried deleting all the text and re-pasting, without any success. Am I failing to spot a simple solution?

You have used the wrong approach to moving the text. Attaching your score would be the easiest way to tell you what you did wrong and how to fix it. The best fix depends upon how your score is set up. My first guess is that you used the inspector to move the lyrics and the dashes and melismas did not move with the text, which they don't.

Thank you, mike320. I changed the setting using Style / Text, then amended the distance for the Odd and Even lyric lines. Here's the file...

You changed the vertical alignment of those text styles, needs to be baseline (or bottom) to properly align with hyphens

Practically impossible to tell without seeing the actual score...
