New figured bass fonts
It would be fantastic if MuseScore had another figured bass font for modern scores with font for numbers similar to Times New Roman or Arial.

So FreeSerif / FreeSans? As these are part of MuseScore anyhow?

Figured bass has all sorts of special layout requirements, only the built-in font is available for selection. In principle, SMuFL defines similar functionality and we could investigate reworking things to take advantage of that. Not sure it provides everything we need though; I haven't checked.
