I think there is a problem with the Tablature - Edit Stave - Advanced Style Properties/Edit Stave Type - Note Values
When "At new system" is set, the result is identical to when "At new bar" is set.
So, when "At new system" is selected, a repeat of the same rhythm results in a repeated rhythm appearing at the beginning of every measure, t=rather than just at a new system.

I do not know if this is related, but I edit early music and use editorial incipit measures; i.e., an initial measure that shows the actual appearance of the source initial measure. Hence measure 1 of the score proper is supposed to have the same overall appearance as the incipit measure. This means that in lute tablature, whatever rhythm first appears in the incipit measure MUST appear at the beginning of the Bar number 1 of the actual score. For good appearance of a score, this is the ONLY place a rhythm would be repeated at the beginning of a subsequent measure. I hoped that setting "At new system" for rhythm might accomplish this. Due to the way the settings are working now, this cannot be determined.
