Issues with "voice"
I run into issues with using voices (user error...).
I am trying to have each part four our church done. I put voices 3 and 4 in the bass clef. By default, it is voice one, but after I set it to voice 4, it leaves a rest. After I delete the rest, it lingers around and is a very light blue.

To properly use voices, in every staff, use voice 1 for the highest notes and voice 2 for the lower notes. Never skip voice 1.
To fix your score, you can exchange voices 1 & 3 then voices 2 & 4, then use the filter selector (F6) to select voices 3 & 4 and delete those.
Don't do it then. Start every staff with voice 1, continue with 2.
Now Justus the swap voices tool, then delete the stray voice 3 and 4 rests.
