• Dec 16, 2018 - 13:16

Hello,
I'm on the german version of Musescore: OS: Linux Mint 19, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.19814, revision: e5d17fc
Some texts in menus are cut. See attachement.

Ok, now the entries are stacked one below the other, but the texts are still cut.

It's really strange the different appearance with different Linux distributions. I suppose you're using unity? Is there difference if you switch to another window manager/desktop environment? With OpenSuse and XFCE no text is cut off with the actual development build.

I suppose I was wrong with my guess and "unity".

Above: I'm sure there's much more important in life as knowledge about such things ;-).

For desktop environments of Linux Mint see: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_Mint#Desktop-Umgebungen.

I don't know if there are installed several desktop environments by default. But sometimes I noticed there's a different appearance between several desktop environments. Maybe try to log out the user and log in again with another available desktop environment.
