MDL Playback Error
I updated MuseScore today because it kept crashing whenever I tried to add MDL Battery instruments. After the update, it will now let me add the instruments to the score, but when I go to playback, I can't hear the battery instruments. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried removing and reinstalling MDL as well, but with no effect.

If by update you mean MuseScore 3, I don't kno that it supports MDL yet.
If you mean 2.3.2, check the soundfonts under View / Synthesizer / Zerberus and be sure you seen all of the MDL soundfonts in alphabetic order. If so and you continue to experience problems, please attach your score so we can investigate.
