dynamic + hairpin change?
Is there a way to change the dynamic + hairpin because at the moment it only has mezzo forte as the dynamic?

Yes, with the Inspector. But, you don't need to use that special combined symbol at all. Just enter the dynamic and the hairpin separately, and they automatically adjust to make room for each other.

Ok, but then if I would like to copy the dynamic + hairpin to another bar, I have to individually copy both of them...right? When I insert the dynamic and hairpin as individual elements, I've tried to select them at the same time with a range, but can't seem to make it work. (I can select the entire measure and then select every element that I don't want, but when I have 5+ elements I DON'T want in the selection, it's a bit time-consuming.) Could you help with this? Perhaps if hairpins could be added to dynamic elements like dynamics can be added to hairpins...

Nevermind. I just stumbled across cmd+click. Now the issue I have is when I copy a hairpin with a dynamic attached to the end of it, it only pastes the hairpin without the dynamic.

Works fine for me - click the hairpin, ctrl+click (windows or linux equivalent of cmd on mac) the dynamic, Ctrl+C, then click destination, Ctrl+V.
