Musescore 3: Input with MIDI keyboard, same note height and duration generates rests

Hi,
Sorry if this has been reported earlier. In that case, please redirect me to the correct solution. I tried to find some similar posts without finding any.

An annoying habit has risen in version 3:
I'm using a MIDI keyboard: USB, M-AUDIO | KeyRig 49
When typing 2 or more 1/4 notes of a particular height, let's say C3, only the last note is printed as a C3, the previous are printed as 1/4 rests.
The same goes for whatever note length and note height.
Have tested both on Windows (Windows 10 64 bit) and Ubuntu (18.04).

How can I turn this feature (bug?) off? I need more than one note of the same height in the same bar without having to go back and correct the height afterwards.
