Directory

I'm not sure if there's a way to do this already, but I just updated to MuseScore 3 and my scores haven't transferred, but I have another completely different folder that only holds the .mscz files. I wanted to know if there was a way to set it as a folder directory so when I hit ⌘O, instead of opening the scores folder, it will open the directory folder.

Thanks in advance,
A basic MuseScore user.

There is a setting in Edit->Preferences where you can set the location of scores. I don't advise to to just overwrite the existing version 2 score with version 3 scores in case you decide you don't like something about them in version 3. It's better to keep version 2 & 3 scores separated.

Keep an eye open for updates to version 3. It took a while to get version 2.x working well and I expect the same to happen with version 3. Once it's working well it will be better than version 2. It'll just take learning a few new interactions to make it work.

I don't know why the scores path didn't work, but I guess that doesn't matter right now.

10 minutes isn't nearly long enough to get used to the changes and appreciate just how amazing the improvements in MsueScore 3 are, but I guarantee what the time you spend doing so will be repaid a hundred-fold with the time saved by automatic placement and all the other new features, So I encourage you to give it is a shot!
