Changing Clefs of Linked Staves

Hi,
This may be a very niche problem but here goes...

As a viola player and occasional conductor, I'd find it very helpful if some of the parts of a score (mainly cello and bass) were written as Alto clef. I thought this would be possible by adding a linked stave and changing the clef of the second one. This, however, didn't work and it changed the clef of both parts. I had a look at this forum as to whether it was possible but all the questions vaguely related to this subject were in regards to SATB pieces and I'm not sure if there wouldn't be an easier way.
In an Ideal world, I'd like to be able to change the clef and the octave it's written in so it's playable on viola automatically.

As I said this may be a very niche problem with few people knowing the answer but thanks for reading my ramble anyway.
