Cannot edit Instrument Names or enable palette editing
These features were free to edit easily in previous renditions of MuseScore, but the options have since been grayed out and unalterable in MuseScore 3. Any way to fix this?

Right click the measure->Stave/Part properties->edit
You can only edit palettes in custom workspaces. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/workspaces#create-custom-workspace
