If you use Ctrl+Shift+down arrow the ties remain in the upper stave;
If you use Ctrl+Shift+Up arrow the beam is left in the lower stave
If you use Ctrl+Shift+down arrow the ties remain in the upper stave;
If you use Ctrl+Shift+Up arrow the beam is left in the lower stave

I guess this is #279182: Cross-staff slurs/ties trying to avoid note on wrong staff, and as such also #282695: ties on cross-staff notes are placed in the wrong staff.
The beam is drawn in the correct place when the score is re-loaded, if you close the score or the program and then re-open it.
As an additional note on this, even if you undo the staff movement (using edit>undo rather than ctrl+shift+up arrow) the beam draws incorrectly until the score is re loaded.
