Overlapping?
Is there a way I can overlap parts to make it easier for my band director to read? Idk how to put 2 parts together without getting rid of one and manually type in the notes. I assume there must be an easier way.

These instructions work in all versions for combining multiple instruments on a single staff. https://musescore.org/en/node/12345 though in MuseScore you can select up to four consecutive staves and and implode them all into one staff and they will be in their own voices. You can then turn each voice into a part using File->Parts.
