Converting French Horn to Trumpet
Hey, I'm not sure if this is something that can be done, but is there a way to convert one instrument to another and also change the notes? For example, I can make the french horn part be played by a trumpet, but I can't make the notes change with it so that it sounds right. Is there a way to do this? Thank you for your help.

In theory...
MuseScore knows what is the right pitch and range of both instruments. It knows how much transposition should between instruments, too.
So... If you just copy one part into the other... There should be right.
But... I insist... IN THEORY!!!
jotape1960 has the right idea. You can also right click the staff, choose Staff/part properties and click Change instruments and the notes will automatically transpose.
What I guess you are missing is the concert pitch button on the toolbar. When it's pressed you see everything in concert pitch, when it's unpressed it shows all pitches in the instruments written pitch, which is also called the transposed pitch.
